The Hilton Recorder Consort was formed about six years ago when a group of recorder enthusiasts decided to meet more regularly to enjoy ensemble playing. Under their Director, Elaine Levene, members meet monthly on a Sunday afternoon from 3pm to 5pm. Our repertoire ranges from Early Music through to Contemporary. The Consort performs in several concerts each year and has performed in Spain, the York Early Music Festival and at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
