Friends since the age of 11 when we met at St Aidan’s CE High
School, we joined together in our fourth year to sing together as a
group- partially in preparation for our GCSE ensembles. For the last
four years we have greatly enjoyed singing together both in the
privacy of school practice rooms and in public performances (usually
charity concerts such as this) and have experimented in many musical
genres. This, our last year at St Aidan’s, will also mean our
last year of singing together. Though next year we will scatter to
universities across the country and it will be impossible to remain
as a quartet, we feel the experience of singing together over the
past few years has greatly improved us- both as friends and musicians.
